Dr Tessmin Ooi graduated from King’s College London in 2016. Her medical career as a dental practitioner lead her to work with National Health Group Polyclinics, the Health Promotion Board and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. These postings have given her vast experience in treating patients with various dental conditions.

She had also worked as a dental surgeon for almost two years at SingHealth Polyclinics Dental. During her service, she organized CDE talks for the dental officers. For her contribution in SingHealth Polyclinic, Dr Ooi was given the Singapore Health Quality Service Award 2021.

Dr Ooi believes in keeping up to date with the newest development of dental techniques and technologies by following dental publications and attending CDE talks and overseas conferences.

A firm believer that prevention is key and good dental habits start at a young age, Dr Ooi is ever keen to treat children and assist parents in educating them of their child’s oral health. She always strives to deliver a comfortable experience for her patients, especially children.

In her free time, she enjoys pencil sketching, cooking dishes and jazz dancing.
